Position details Role: Year 4 Teacher — Oxford Start date: January 2026 Contract: Permanent, Full-Time About the role The Year 4 Teacher will plan differentiated lessons, deliver quality-first teaching and use assessment to set precise next steps for pupils. This Year 4 Teacher will run booster groups, provide formative feedback and liaise with parents to share progress. In Oxford, the school promotes collaborative planning and regular CPD, so the Year 4 Teacher will have access to coaching and development opportunities. Key responsibilities Plan and deliver high-quality Year 4 lessons with clear progression and differentiation. Monitor progress and design small-group interventions that accelerate learning. Maintain accurate assessment records and contribute to moderation across the school. Work with TAs to deliver targeted support and ensure pupils access the curriculum. Contribute to enrichment activities and community partnerships in Oxford. Person specification Qualified teacher with proven Year 4 or KS2 experience and evidence of positive impact. Confident planner with secure subject knowledge and strong behaviour management. Effective communicator, organised and committed to working in Oxford.
