SEMH Teaching Assistant – Primary SEND SchoolLocation: Bournemouth, Dorset Start Date: February 2026 Hours: Full-Time, Term Time Only (Monday to Friday, 08:30–15:30) Pay: £90–£100 per day (dependent on experience) We are working in partnership with a specialist primary SEND school in Bournemouth that is seeking an experienced and resilient SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their team from February 2026. This is a long-term opportunity supporting primary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The role involves providing 1:1 and small group support to help pupils regulate emotions, develop positive behaviour and re-engage with learning in a structured and nurturing primary school environment. The school is particularly keen to hear from candidates with a background in sports coaching, mentoring, youth work or behaviour support, as physical activity, structure and positive role modelling form a key part of their approach.
