Reporting to the Capital Programme Manager, you will be responsible for delivering capital projects across a range of different product types, from Mecana filtration units to IFAS aeration systems. Our aim is for every project to be delivered on time, in scope and in budget, whilst maintaining excellent standards of health and safety. Each day will be different, as you liaise with clients, the factory and our installations department to make sure everything runs smoothly throughout the lifecycle of a project. What you'll be doing: Apply our project methodology to each project, adhering to project standards and ensuring all deliverables are completed on time, in scope and in budget. Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and explore the project scope in detail to ensure that the project runs smoothly and meets their expectations. Consider the needs of internal and external stakeholders in order to make balanced, informed decisions and find successful solutions where conflicting priorities arise. Undertake financial management of each project to ensure robust management of budget and adequate forecasting of project spend. Contribute to developing our processes and leading internal change programmes. Visiting sites across the U.K. and Europe as required. Who we are looking for: A strong communicator and skilled negotiator, with a positive, collaborative and solution-oriented attitude. A candidate who is calm under pressure, able to work in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple projects at varying stages of the project life cycle. Someone with a knack for spotting problems before they happen, understanding project dependencies, and proactively finding and agreeing resolutions. A person that is forward thinking, tends to look at the bigger picture, and often considers how they can improve processes and procedures to make positive improvements for the future. Relevant experience within the water industry. Experience of working within the NEC3 project management framework. Prince II or an equivalent qualification / experience.
