We are working with a world class power transmission equipment company, who are seeking a talented CNC Machinist - Turner to join their innovative team in Coventry. What You Will Do:
- Set and operate CNC Lathes (Fanuc/G-Code) with precision and efficiency.
- Generate CNC machine programmes and ensure components meet manufacturing specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, understanding tolerances and requirements.
- Assist other operatives with setups, tooling, and cutting details to optimise performance.
- Identify and prepare tooling, fixtures, and machine programme needs in advance to minimise downtime.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cutting fluid checks, and machine cleaning.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist - Turner, with a minimum of two years in a similar role.
- Strong ability to understand and read G codes.
- A-Level or equivalent education.
- Expertise in working with Fanuc/G-Code CNC Lathes.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to machining components with precision.
