About The Role

Tropic exists to create a healthier, greener, more empowered world. Through our Infinite Purpose, we donate 10% of all profits to good causes, often totalling over £1m each year.

This role sits at the heart of that commitment. You will lead the delivery and continued development of our Infinite Purpose, ensuring every pound delivers meaningful impact, that Tropic remains accountable to high standards, and that our progress is shared in a way that makes our customers and Ambassadors feel deeply proud.

We are looking for a blend of impact leader, partnership manager, and purpose storyteller. Someone who can shape and deliver strategy, build meaningful global relationships, and communicate our mission with clarity and credibility.

In This Role, You Will

Lead and evolve Tropic's Infinite Purpose across impact allocation, partnerships, sustainability initiatives and communications
Manage and grow our charity partnerships, with a primary focus on education for marginalised children globally
Lead communications relating to Infinite Purpose, from impact reporting and website content to campaigns and press opportunities
Drive continuous improvement year on year focusing on progress, transparency and credibility

You'll work lean and independently, collaborating closely with in-house support across design, editing, marketing, writing and PR when needed.

This is a significant opportunity to help shape how Tropic delivers and communicates meaningful global impact at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Impact Allocation & Accountability

Lead the allocation process of Tropic's 10% profit donation across partners
Develop clear frameworks for measuring impact and effectiveness
Establish partner reporting rhythms and evidence-led accountability
Provide funding and prioritisation recommendations to the CEO

Charity Partnership & Foundation Oversight

Support the operating cadence of the Tropic Foundation
Ensure governance, transparency, and impact evidence are clear and credible
Strengthen long-term partner relationships through warmth and rigour

Purpose Communications & PR Leadership

Lead All Communications Relating To Infinite Purpose Across

Website and impact pages
Social-first storytelling and milestones
Quarterly "what we achieved together" reporting
Press opportunities, awards, and thought leadership

Storytelling & Content Capture

Build a consistent drumbeat of high-quality impact content
Interview partners, beneficiaries, and community stakeholders ethically and respectfully
Plan and deliver shoots (briefs, storyboards, schedules)
Capture content on location and direct narrative quality with internal teams

Sustainability & Greener Operations

Partner with relevant teams to track and report on Tropic's carbon commitments
Support improvements in sustainability measurement and transparency
Contribute to initiatives around plastic reduction and greener operations
Internal Culture & Community Activation
Work with People and Culture to create volunteer days and give-back initiatives for HQ
Equip Ambassadors with resources to live and share Infinite Purpose
Support fundraising and cause-linked campaigns throughout the year

New Partnerships & Purpose Growth

Identify and evaluate new charity partners aligned to Tropic's mission
Develop and launch new purpose initiatives from pilot through to reporting

Key Partnerships You'll Lead

You'll lead and nurture Tropic's relationships with purpose partners including:

United World Schools – funding education in remote communities globally
The Winnie Mabaso Foundation – supporting vulnerable children in South Africa
Eden: People + Planet – ecosystem restoration and tree planting
Forestry England – stewarding Tropic's UK forest
Skcin – skin cancer awareness and early detection education
Beauty Banks – supporting dignity through access to essentials

You'll also identify and develop new partnerships aligned to our mission, with education for marginalised children as a core focus.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience leading purpose or impact communications
Strong content production background (journalism, NGO comms, branded storytelling or similar)
Working knowledge of safeguarding, partner due diligence and ethical risk management
Confident relationship-builder able to hold partners accountable with empathy
Comfortable working with impact evidence and reporting
Excellent writing and narrative instinct
Deep alignment with Tropic's values and passion for children's education

Ideal (but Not Essential)

Experience working with impact measurement frameworks, ESG reporting or grant-making processes
Comfortable capturing content on location (filming or photography experience a bonus)
Awareness of safeguarding, ethical storytelling and reputational risk considerations

What We Offer

Employment Type: This is a full-time position, typically Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Given the nature of our purpose work, some flexibility will be required around events, campaigns and international travel.
Location: Tropic HQ is a short walk from Beddington Lane Tram stop, with direct links to East Croydon and Wimbledon. This role includes some international travel (alongside key Tropic trips) to document impact and strengthen partner relationships - e.g., visiting schools we fund, partner sites, and purpose activations.
Hybrid Working: Enjoy a blend of office and remote working with a minimum of 3 days in the office.
Salary: Starting from £50,000 per annum
