We're looking for a talented Quantity Surveyor who wants to be part of a dynamic, forward-thinking environment where no two days are the same and where your impact is genuinely felt. This is a key role supporting the Commercial Director, Contracts Managers, and site teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, profitably, and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
* Analysing subcontract quotations, liaising with contracts managers and construction director
* Preparing and processing formal subcontract documents, including certification of interim and final payments and agreement of final accounts
* Producing Bills of Quantities or activity schedules for valuation and payment purposes
* Preparing accurate cash flow forecasts for internal reporting and client requirements
* Monitoring and controlling contract income and expenditure, including interim and final applications, final accounts, and recovery of late payments
* Producing monthly commercial reports for the Commercial Director, including cost/value reconciliations and turnover forecasts
* Providing commercial advice and support to site teams to optimise contract performance and resource use
Qualifications
* Full UK driving licence
* HND or Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience
* Valid CSCS card
* Strong experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction sector
* Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills
* Strong analytical and reporting abilities
