Job Title: Medical Support Secretary - Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC)
Location: County Hospital
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Support Secretary to join the Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC) team at County Hospital. In this role, you will provide vital administrative support to multidisciplinary teams, with a focus on the new Frailty Assessment Unit (FAU).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintaining records and managing waiting lists
2. Assisting with complaints and queries
3. Supporting telephone communications with departments, patients, relatives, GPs, and other services
4. Booking outpatient appointments and managing discharge letters
5. Covering ward clerk duties when required
6. Participating in additional duties such as fire warden and manual handler training
7. Performing other administrative tasks as needed
