MacGregor Black is proud to partner with a privately owned accountancy firm to recruit an Accountant for a permanent position based near Leeds, with the option to work remotely up to three days per week.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic firm where you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality financial services to a diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing Annual Accounts and Corporation Tax Returns
* Completing Self-Assessment Tax Returns
* Managing Bookkeeping and overseeing payroll functions
* Assisting with Company Start-Ups and advising on financial processes
* Producing Management Accounts and supporting business forecasting
What We’re Looking For:
* A qualified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience
* Strong knowledge of statutory accounts preparation and financial compliance
* Proficiency in accountancy software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
* Excellent communication skills to build strong client relationships
* A proactive, detail-oriented individual with a problem-solving mindset
