The Role:
We are looking for a Subject Access Request Officer to work as part of our dedicated team focused on providing Subject Access Requests (SARs), to members of the public for Adult and Children's Services. By doing this you will help the team comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act (2018) by delivering the SARs within a defined timescale.
What you'll do:
You will work closely with colleagues across all branches of the Childrens Services and Adult Health and Care Directorates, as well as with colleagues from the wider County Council and other partners.
The core function of your role will be to work on SAR disclosures by reading and redacting Children's and Adult records according to exemptions within the legislation.
Training will be provided.
What we're looking for:
We are looking for an individual who is process:driven, with an eye for detail. You will also be a good communicator with excellent ICT skills.
