A bit about the role…
* Reporting to the Head of Retail Strategy & Excellence, this role is responsible for leading the Retail ‘digital first’ strategy as part of the overarching 5-year Retail strategy. Operational excellence and functionality capability development will be achieved through Retail systems such as EDGE, Power BI, GEM suite, The Retailer Hub and The Retailer Training Centre.
* Lead the Retail agenda in ensuring operational excellence of digital tools and systems as well as being the voice of Retail for current and future digital developments such as AI and MER.
* Support the delivery of Single Retailer View (SRV) with cross functional colleagues, liaising and providing SME to the central and Customer and Retail Care Team.
* This role is the conduit between the PMO, technology and the commercial function, translating and refining the views and progress of the commercial, IT and PMO functions
We operate a hybrid working model requiring employees to work from the office 3 days per week. These in-office days will be spread across the standard working week (Monday-Friday).
What you’ll be doing…
* Responsible for all BAU and future processes to drive the effective operationalisation of GEM Suite (Licensing, Intelligence & Retail), the Retail Training Centre and the Retailer Hub for Retail
* Own the operational relationship with C.I, Sponge and SGi, including maximising output from monthly retainers and contract negotiation, measure against agreed OPMs .
* Agreeing the annual development roadmap for the Retailer Hub in line with ABP requirements. Responsible for managing the annual development budget and ensuring all development projects come in on budget and on time.
* Management of the RTC system to drive advancements in line with the digital-first commitment; including all UX redesign requirements as identified through the Retail Continual Improvement Programme.
* Manage the annual development roadmap for GEM Intelligence in line with ABP requirements. Responsible for managing the annual development budget and ensuring all development projects come in on budget and on time including post cutover CR’s and fast follow’s.
What experience we’re looking for…
* Proven experience or expertise in developing digital capabilities; working with third party and or in house development teams.
* You have expertise working as a conduit between technical and sales teams to represent the required business requirements to drive Retail excellence.
* Good working knowledge of CRM, LMS, CMS, Power BI platforms will be highly beneficial.
* You are focused on continuous improvement, striving to deliver high-quality solutions for retailers.
* You enjoy tackling complex problems, challenging the status quo, and driving innovation within your team.
Key Measures of Success:
* Secure Leadership support for a comprehensive systems roadmap to deliver against digital first’ strategic objectives to support and grow Retail.
* Optimised retailer engagement rates across the Retailer Hub and Retailer Portal.
* Successful transition, ongoing delivery and continual improvement of all Retail reporting and tools.
* Full systems evaluation, result measurement and future recommendations as agreed with stakeholders
* An effective stakeholder map and cross functional relationships established in order to support the Retail strategy across the business.
