The Fashion and Textile Museum is seeking a highly motivated Visitor Services and Volunteer Coordinator to join a dedicated and friendly team. This key role ensures the professional day-to-day running of visitor services at the Museum, alongside providing excellent customer service to all visitors and stakeholders.
This is a hands-on role with both front and back of house duties. The post holder will coordinate all elements of the Visitor Services operations, including recruiting, managing, and motivating the Museum volunteers.
We are looking for a positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent visitor experiences in Museums. You should be able to hit the ground running, with an eagerness to learn and develop skills.
The Fashion and Textile Museum, London, was founded in 2003 by icon of British design, Dame Zandra Rhodes. Since 2007, the Museum has been operated by Newham College, London – one of Europe’s largest further education colleges.
