What does the role involve?
As an Unqualified Teacher (also known as a Cover Supervisor), you'll:
* Lead lessons in the absence of the regular teacher
* Deliver pre-prepared work to students
* Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
* Support the school by ensuring smooth handover back to the regular teacher
This is perfect for you if you have experience in:
* Sports coaching
* Youth work
* Drama, art, or music workshops
* Teaching or leading children's activities (Scouts, Guides, Cubs, Brownies, etc.)
* Summer camps or outdoor education (Duke of Edinburgh, adventure instructors)
* Community clubs or after-school programs
Even a minimum of 2 months' experience in these areas is enough to get started.
