The Role
We are looking for experienced and compassionate Support Workers to join our growing team. You will be responsible for delivering hands-on care and proactive support in a structured, therapeutic environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting individuals with day-to-day tasks (personal care, meal prep, community access)
- Using Positive Behaviour Support approaches to manage behaviours that challenge
- Promoting independence, communication, and life skills
- Documenting care, incidents, and progress accurately
- Working closely with the Nurse Manager and colleagues to ensure safe, high-quality care
Requirements
* Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities is essential
* Resilient, empathetic, and confident in supporting people with complex needs
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Commitment to person-centred support and safeguarding
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
* NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (desirable but not essential, as this can be provided)
