We’re looking for an Electrical Project Manager to deliver a range of Electrical and Building Services projects across a large and complex site in Portsmouth. This is a key role within a major systems programme, where you’ll oversee projects from scope through to completion — ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery.

You’ll work as part of a highly skilled project delivery team, managing end-to-end project execution across multiple building environments. From overseeing the design and procurement process to managing contractors, budgets, and schedules — you’ll ensure every project meets its technical, safety and operational objectives.
This role is hands-on, requiring regular site visits and close collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams, clients, and end users. You’ll also play a key part in driving continuous improvement and supporting the development of junior project staff.
What do you need?
Proven experience delivering Electrical or Building Services projects
Strong project management skills across design, procurement, delivery and handover stages
Experience managing projects up to £4M+ in value and 12+ months in duration
Excellent communication, planning and decision-making skills
Confident working directly with clients and multiple stakeholders
Strong working knowledge of health and safety regulations, risk and cost management
Ideally qualified with a Degree, HNC/HND or professional certification in Engineering, Construction or Project Management
Additional qualifications such as APM PMQ, SMSTS, IOSH or NEBOSH are advantageous
The details:
Location: Portsmouth
British Passport is required
Salary: Up to £64,000 per annum (DOE)
Hours: 37 per week, Monday–Friday
