Contract Manager - ICP connection's - 33kV - 132kVJoin a global business - be part of a great team - lead the division on delivering EPC contracts for electrical networks within the UK, primarily managing an ICP who will be building networks on behalf of the IDNO.Contractually you will be well versed with EPC, NEC, FIDIC and JCT contract types. You will lead procurement processes and contract negotiations as well as managing the contract throughout its lifecycle. This includes ensuring any contractual disputes are well documented and, where necessary, are escalated with the Management and Legal Teams.Key Responsibilities / DutiesReviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirementsScrutinizing labor and material costs, as well as contracts to deliver best valueLiaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractorsPreparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategiesKeeping track of materials and ordering more when requiredDocumenting any changes in design and updating budgetsEstablishing and maintaining professional, effective relationships with external and internal stakeholdersTraveling to various sites as requiredKnowledge and SkillsBachelor's degree in electrical engineering, quantity surveying, engineering, contract management, or similarConstruction estimating and/or finance experience is advantageousStrong analytical and critical thinking skillsSound knowledge of construction principlesExcellent negotiating and interpersonal skillsAbility to organise, plan, and strategise
