Your new companyHays Education is proud to be working in partnership with a nurturing and inclusive primary school in Wigan to recruit a passionate and committed KS1 Class Teacher to join their team from September 2025. Your new roleThis is an exciting opportunity for a creative and enthusiastic teacher to take on a full-time Key Stage 1 class. The successful candidate will be joining a supportive and forward-thinking school that places a strong emphasis on pupil wellbeing, high-quality teaching, and collaborative working. Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
* Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that supports all learners.
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing timely feedback and support.
* Work closely with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school, including school events and extracurricular activities.
What you'll need to succeed
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
* Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (including ECTs with relevant placements).
* A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
* A nurturing and reflective practitioner with a passion for early learning.
