We have a new and fantastic opportunity for a Quotes Engineer to join the sales team of one of our leading engineering companies in Walkden.. This is a permanent role paying £32 - £35K depending on experience, working hours per week.
What will you be doing as a Quotes Engineer?
1. The role of a quotes engineer is to receive quotes from new or existing customers on a design they are looking to build.
2. This design will be made up of switch boards, modular panels and will be used in a variety of industries to source power
3. The design is mapped out by using either a 2d or 3d AutoCAD design.
4. Your role will be to use the clients drawing to configure the design using the AutoCAD system
5. To enable you to identify how the design can be built and what parts will be used
6. Once the design has been configured this will then be run their bespoke calcs system to itemise all parts and prices
7. Once the final design and quote is ready, you will then send to the customer with information
8. The customer will then liaise with you about any additional parts or amendments they would like to make before the quote becomes an order
We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
9. Ideally, we would love to hear from candidates with experience within an Electrical or Mechanical field.
10. You may have experience working for an electrical distributor or manufacturer
11. You may have experience in electrical engineering
12. You will be hands on and quick to learn
13. You may have experience in working on auto cad design and experienced in 2d or 3d imaging
14. You may have experience in designing kitchens
15. You will also be computer savvy
