Amazon is seeking Maintenance Technicians to join the team at our new Fulfilment Center (FC) in Cranbourne.
Please note the shift pattern is based on business need and rotates every 6 months from Wednesday to Saturday | Sunday to Wednesday (10 hour shifts, 4 days per week).

Key Job Responsibilities
1. Carry out planned preventative maintenance on equipment within the site.
2. Prioritize health & safety in all work activities.
3. Respond promptly to breakdowns, communicate effectively, and resolve issues efficiently.
4. Support continuous improvement through feedback and suggestions.
5. Ensure high equipment availability for internal customers.
6. Support and learn from Senior Maintenance Technicians.
A Day in the Life
Our RME Technicians are on-site to respond quickly to machinery issues. You will perform planned preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns, investigate, and implement solutions promptly. You will also contribute to long-term improvements and undertake general maintenance tasks alongside senior colleagues.
About the Team
The Reliability Maintenance Engineering team ensures our equipment performs optimally. We are a technically skilled, collaborative team guided by experienced leaders, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment across our global fulfilment centres.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Certificate III in Electrotechnology with current electrical trade license or Certificate III in Engineering / Mechanical Trade (Fitter / Turner).
* Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems.
* Experience fault-finding within Material Handling Equipment / Automation systems.
* Ability to read electrical / mechanical drawings.
* Experience with conveyor maintenance, motor controllers / inverters.
* Knowledge of health & safety standards and regulations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preferred qualifications are not mandatory. If you meet all basic qualifications, we encourage you to apply.
* Experience with CMMS systems.
* Experience with sortation machines.
* Experience maintaining or configuring barcode scanners.
* Experience with print and apply machines.
