As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a proactive In-House Pensions Support Officer to join our team and play a key role in supporting the smooth running of our occupational pension scheme.
As our In-House Pensions Support Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our pension operations — ensuring accurate record-keeping, supporting member queries, liaising with trustees and 3rd parties, and helping maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
You’ll work closely with HR, and external parties to ensure our employees receive a high-quality, responsive pension service.
Who We’re Looking For
* Must have at least 2 years of pension administration (in-house or third-party)
* Knowledge of UK pension legislation
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Confident communicator with a member-focused approach
* Ability to manage sensitive and confidential data
* Logical approach to problem-solving, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office
* The ability to work independently and contribute positively to a team
* Ability to effectively prioritise tasks
* A willingness to learn with a can-do attitude
What You’ll Be Doing
* Administer day-to-day pension scheme and pension payroll activities
* Respond to member queries professionally and efficiently
* Perform and verify both automated and manual calculations with support of the pension team
* Maintain accurate pension records and documentation
* Liaise with trustees, actuaries, and external providers
* Assist with pension audits and scheme reviews
* Ensure compliance with current pensions legislation
