My client is part of a worldwide firm, with a small site based in Loughborough.
They are currently looking to recruit a General Manager to join them on a temporary basis, with the arrangement reviewed monthly.
Job Role:
Reporting directly to the Global Channel Manager and Directors, your role involves overseeing the organisation's daily operations and managing the business aspects of the UK base.
Your primary duties include reviewing and implementing operational procedures, assisting departmental heads, and managing company finances.
The General Manager holds overall responsibility for all areas of the business.
You will aim for operational excellence and achieve KPIs aligned with the company's expectations.

Main responsibilities:
* Running operations smoothly
* Ensuring plans are in place and executed to exceed the site's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
* Leading, developing, and inspiring the team to boost efficiency and exceed customer expectations
* Dealing with customers
About you:
* You're a motivator with strong leadership skills
* Your communication skills are excellent, with a flexible leadership style
* Proficient in influencing and collaborating across all levels of the business
* Organised and adept at time management; promoting equality, diversity, and an inclusive work environment
* Speaking German would be an advantage
Your Duties:
* Lead the team to meet all KPIs
* Manage budgets, control costs, and maximise profitability
* Oversee safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure consistency
* Assist with credit control
* Liaise with management
This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00.
Salary: dependent on experience
