BMC Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Group Warehouse Manager for their client in Boldon, Tyne and Wear. You will be based at the office in Boldon, however in the near future (6-9 months’ time) they will be moving to larger premises, based at Newton Aycliffe. You must be willing to be relocated to the new office, with no hybrid working. This is a site-based role.
You’ll be a dynamic warehouse leader with several years’ experience in leading and developing a team.

* Full time 40 hours a week – Permanent
* Early finish on a Friday

Responsibilities/Requirements
* Oversee daily warehouse activities
* Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels
* Team leadership and staff supervision
* Process improvement, implement change
* Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives
* Manage logistics, despatch and delivery
* Oversee safe loading and delivery vehicles, including route planning
* Working closely with internal departments for example project and sales department
* Budget and cost management
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
