SEN Maths Teacher
Location: Tonbridge
Salary Scale: TBC
Start Date: September, Full Time
GSL Education Kent invites applications from passionate individuals for the role of SEN Maths Teacher in Tonbridge. We are seeking an individual with a deep-seated passion for teaching mathematics, coupled with extensive experience in supporting students with Special Educational Needs.
As a SEN Maths Teacher, your responsibilities will be to:
* Plan, teach, and assess the Maths Curriculum.
* Demonstrate confidence in teaching Maths.
* Implement the school's behaviour management policy effectively.
* Foster independence in students
* Provide exceptional levels of safeguarding.
* Provide individualised support to students with special educational needs, tailoring teaching methods to suit their unique learning styles.
* Offer personalised one-on-one assistance to students with special educational needs, adapting teaching methods to accommodate individual learning styles.
Requirements for the SEN Maths Teacher role:
* Hold Qualified Teaching Status.
* Have a degree in subject area.
* Be passionate about their subject area.
* Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring.
* An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to go through the process with us).
* A full checkable work history.
* Proven experience working with students with SEN.
