Talent Acquisition Team Leader
Working across the Raytheon UK Mission Areas and functions, this management role will enable the team of talent acquisition partners to deliver strategic workforce planning solutions across a variety of disciplines across the organisation. Working closely with stakeholders, this position will involve a collaborative approach to acquiring talent both internally and externally to meet future resourcing needs.
What you’ll do:
1. Lead and develop the key drivers for talent acquisition; forging relationships, strategic guidance, innovative solutions, and stakeholder support
2. Manage and coach the talent acquisition team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
3. Forge Relationships – develop and nurture strong relationshipsServe as a trusted advisor to the business and proactively advise hiring managers on an ongoing basis to understand their current and future hiring needs and strategyDevelop internal pipelines with the talent management team from early careers to future leaders’ talent pools
4. Strategic Guidance - develop effective sourcing strategiesDevelop and implement recruitment strategies, utilising external and internal pipelines to meet the future business needsDevelop and increase the quality of search delivery, staying abreast of market trends affecting the business as well as employment trendsDevelop plans to ensure diversity, attraction and the candidate experience are at the forefront to retain future talentEngage in workforce planning, business planning and forecasting as well as establish and supervise retention metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of hiring processes and approachEnsure compliance with employment law, best practice recruitment, GDPR and visa/security requirements
5. Innovative Solutions - especially to facilitate ‘hard to fill’ and specialist rolesLead and develop a responsive team, aligned with stakeholders resourcing requirementsUtilise and negotiate agency rates and quality of serviceDevelop a branding strategy, utilising a range of marketing platforms and social media to attract talentKeep informed about market/industry trends and implement best practices to enhance the team’s effectivenessProvide accurate performance analysis to the business and use this information to drive team performance
6. Stakeholder Support - accountability and offer expert adviceAchieve set targets contributing to business growthReview current and future assessment approaches and how they align with the RTX organisation culture
