Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various settings, ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning tasks, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties
* Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
* Ensure all surfaces are cleaned and sanitised to meet health and safety standards.
* Manage waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.
* Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs.
* Communicate effectively with clients and team members to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services.
* Drive to various locations as required for cleaning assignments.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a cleaning role is advantageous but not essential.
* Strong communication skills in English to interact with clients and colleagues effectively.
* Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a friendly and approachable attitude.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for transportation between job sites.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £12.60 per hour
