About the Role:
An inclusive and welcoming primary school in Ealing is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide tailored support to students with special educational needs. Working closely with teachers and SENCOs, you will play a key role in creating a positive and engaging learning experience for all students.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one or small group support for students with additional learning needs.
* Assist in adapting lesson materials to meet individual student needs.
* Help create a safe and inclusive classroom environment where every child can thrive.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and external specialists to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
* Support students’ social and emotional development, encouraging confidence and independence.
* Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
Who We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children with SEN in a school setting (preferred but not essential).
* A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting children with diverse learning needs.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A willingness to learn and take part in professional development opportunities.
* Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
