An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Customer Service Coordinator to join a well-established and innovative manufacturing company based in East Kent. This business services a range of industrial b2b customers. This role would suit a motivated and dependable individual with experience in customer service who is ready to take on a varied and rewarding position within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. As a Customer Service Coordinator you will: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients via various channels, consistently delivering a high standard of service. Prepare accurate quotations and process technical sales orders, ensuring alignment with manufacturing specifications and lead times. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers. Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and service history using internal ERP/CRM systems. Liaise with production, logistics, and procurement teams to coordinate order fulfilment and delivery schedules. Proactively resolve technical queries, delivery issues, and service concerns in a timely and professional manner. Support the sales and engineering teams with project coordination and customer updates. Contribute to ongoing process improvements aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Essential requirements: Previous experience in an office-based customer service role in a relevant business (engineering, manufacturing, scientific) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal. Confident communicator with a proactive and problem-solving mindset. Able to manage and prioritise workload effectively and work well under pressure. Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and ERP/CRM systems. A meticulous attention to detail. Organised and adaptable in approach.
