We have a fantastic opportunity for a Band 6 Dietitian specialising in Paediatrics to join our team in Lancaster, earning £26 per hour on an ongoing contract with full-time availability. This role offers the chance to engage with a complex caseload covering a wide range of clinical areas including nutrition support, enteral feeding, gastroenterology, food allergies, feeding problems, neonates, and eating disorders. What you will do:
* Provide expert nutritional advice and support to paediatric patients and their families, tailored to each child’s health needs.
* Develop and implement nutrition care plans for patients with a variety of conditions including gastroenterology, food allergies, and eating disorders.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient health and wellbeing.
* Monitor and review the nutritional plans alongside the progress of patients to ensure optimal outcomes.
* Support and educate patients, families, and carers with empathy and clear communication.
Requirements of the Dietitian:
* A degree or equivalent in dietetics is essential.
* Recent UK experience working as a Dietitian within paediatrics.
* Registration with the HCPC to work in the UK is mandatory.
