Grafton Banks Finance are working with a well-respected property company with offices based across the UK. We are actively seeking a Finance Manager for the Brighton based office. This is a full-time permanent role managing a small team and reporting in the board of Directors. This job role will oversee the financial operations across the growing business. This is a pivotal role with broad responsibilities, ranging from reconciliation and reporting to leadership and compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial information and delivering a robust and compliant accounting function.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Overall responsibility for the completion, accuracy, and ongoing upkeep of all property account reconciliations.
2. Oversight and support in agreeing tenant and client payment plans, ensuring compliance and sound financial judgement.
3. Lead on property onboarding and disengagement processes, including financial setup, transfer of funds, and liaison with internal teams.
4. Manage all aspects of property insurance including renewals and maintaining appropriate cover across the portfolio.
5. Ensure compliance financial regulations and best practice at all times.
6. Establish, implement, and manage effective internal controls to safeguard client funds and ensure accurate financial reporting.
