As a Residential Support Worker at Llamau, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people aged 11 to 18. You'll help create a safe, nurturing, and empowering home environment where young people can thrive emotionally, socially, and physically.
You will work closely with families, external agencies, and professionals to ensure each young person receives the best possible care and opportunities. Using trauma-informed and psychologically led approaches, you'll support young people in a kind, empathetic, and child-centred way.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver excellent emotional and physical care within a safe and supportive home environment.
* Support young people in building and maintaining relationships with family and professionals.
* Use trauma-informed practices to provide tailored, compassionate support.
* Maintain accurate records in line with Llamau and CIW standards.
* Identify and escalate safeguarding and health & safety concerns.
* Contribute to a warm, welcoming, and non-judgemental home environment.
