Your key responsibilities
In your role as an EY Senior Manager you will have responsibility for designing & delivering our technology projects within our client base. You will be expected to:
1. Manage a Tagetik project team on a client-facing engagement, working effectively across the full lifecycle delivery of a large, complex technology programme whilst managing project financials
2. Design complex planning and consolidation solutions which meet the requirements of our clients and are in line with leading practices
3. Engage and collaborate with clients’ stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
4. Build excellent client relationships and drive sales and opportunities in the market
5. Work as part of a high performing team, mentoring junior members of staff
Skills and attributes for success
You will have knowledge and experience of the following:
6. Tagetik certification or equivalent experience
7. Ability to create complex system architecture, from designing a Tagetik solution to fit with business functional requirements to proposing wider system landscape frameworks to enable data integrations
8. Positioning the features and limitations of Tagetik
9. Understanding of leading practices for developing Tagetik models
10. Strong financial planning & consolidation knowledge
11. Full lifecycle project delivery experience (Build, Test & Deploy phases) including workshop planning and delivery, requirements & backlog definition, data model design, creation of Functional & Technical specifications and system configuration
12. Hands-on project delivery experience of Tagetik capabilities including data integration and modelling, planning calculations, consolidation rules and dashboarding
13. Deep understanding of business finance processes and how Tagetik can be leveraged to support these
14. Understanding of the sales process, from opportunity through to delivery, with technical expertise to determine how Tagetik can provide value for our clients
To qualify for the role you must have
15. Demonstrable ability to manage large, complex programmes
16. Understanding of the full life cycle of Tagetik planning implementations both in terms of project delivery and the financial management
17. Experience working with waterfall and agile delivery methodologies
18. Experience delivering financial planning projects, notably complex Tagetik planning delivery
19. Experience designing complex Tagetik solutions
20. Excellent communication skills and ability to build ‘Trusted Adviser’ relationships
21. Strong presentation skills
22. Proven sales expertise
23. Willingness to travel as required in relation to working at Client Sites on specific engagements
Ideally, you’ll also have
24. Data warehousing expertise
25. Experience with consolidation delivery using Tagetik
26. Deep understanding of the Tagetik roadmap and industry trends
27. Industry / sector expertise would be advantageous
