Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be recruiting a Business Finance Analyst for a well-established international business based in Rotherham.
The Role
The Business Finance Analyst will be responsible for delivering high-quality analysis, accurate reporting, and supporting both day-to-day and strategic business decisions. You’ll also be involved in budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement projects, with the opportunity to influence processes and workflows across the group.
Key Responsibilities
* Analysis against budget and forecast to support management decisions
* Reviewing monthly performance of each region against budget and previous year to identify overspends and cost-saving opportunities
* Monthly data reporting for the senior management team
* Performing ad-hoc analysis and assignments as required
* Partnering with other departments on finance-related matters to improve processes and policies
* Assisting with production of annual budgets and profit and loss forecasts

About You
* QBE, Part-Qualified or Fully Qualified (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA)
* Strong analytical skills and Excel ability
* Comfortable working with large data sets and multiple stakeholders
* Organised, detail-focused, and able to work independently as well as in a team
* Proactive, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement
