What you’ll be doing No two days are the same, but the tasks below offer a glimpse of what to expect. Site Inspections & Standards Conduct regular inspections to monitor building condition and compliance. Identify risks and improvement opportunities, ensuring corrective actions are implemented. Maintenance Managemento Organize, manage and oversee routine and reactive maintenance programs. Manage contractors and suppliers, ensuring quality and timely delivery. Tendering & Procurement Lead tendering processes for hard asset maintenance and soft services (e.g., cleaning, security,landscaping) collaborating with the Procurement team as needed. Evaluate bids, negotiate contracts, and ensure value for money. Health & Safety & Compliance Maintain statutory compliance across all sites. Keep accurate records of certifications and remedial actions. Planning & Capital Works Support the Property Manager in developing long-term maintenance strategies and capital expenditure projects. Provide technical input for major works and assist in contractor selection. Financial Planning Contribute to service charge budgets by providing accurate contract costs, repair budgets, andforecasts for longer-term works. Collaboration Work closely with the Property Manager (who is responsible for service charges and client/customer relationships), site-based teams, and administrative assistant for scheduling and reporting. You will work together to achieve KPIS specific to your role and portfolio. What you need to succeed Strong knowledge of building services, maintenance processes, and compliance requirements. Proven experience in maintenance management and tendering processes. Excellent organizational and negotiation skills. Ability to manage multiple sites and contractors effectively. Desirable: Membership of IWFM (Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management), IOSH, or similar professional bodies Why join us?
