About the Role As Registered Manager, you will: Lead the Shared Lives team, ensuring safe, effective, and high-quality service delivery in line with Care Quality Commission (CQC) guidelines and sector best practice. Develop and maintain robust quality assurance and performance monitoring systems. Oversee recruitment, induction, and ongoing support for Shared Lives Carers, ensuring they are equipped to provide outstanding care. Work collaboratively with colleagues, carers, commissioners, and other professionals to ensure the needs of individuals and carers are met. Champion safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion across the service. What We’re Looking For Experience in managing and leading a CQC-regulated social care service, ideally within a Shared Lives setting. Strong understanding of safeguarding, MCA/DOLS, and the regulatory frameworks underpinning adult social care. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff and carers. Excellent communication, organisational, and partnership-building skills. Commitment to continuous professional development and service improvement. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent), and eligibility to register with the CQC as a Registered Manager.
