Assistant Accountant – NVOG
NVOG is a rapidly growing business operating in a specialist field that deploys its products and services to both commercial and domestic customers. Having recently appointed a Finance Director, the business is now gearing up for expansion which will involve opening new sites and bringing some of its currently outsourced accountancy support in-house. The role will provide an excellent development opportunity for someone looking to benefit from mentorship and the chance to enjoy a varied role in an SME finance function.
Duties
* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Supporting production of month‑end board reports
* Reporting for main trading company and divisions
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Preparing cash‑flow forecasts
* Developing KPIs and analysis
* Assisting / owning the year‑end accounts preparation
* Producing VAT returns and dealing with HMRC
* Overseeing sales and purchase ledger
* Supporting implementation of XERO
