Engineering Advisor – Customer Project Engineering (Internal Title)
Responsibilities
As a Project Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for following tasks:
* Overall engineering leadership on the project
* Responsible for the project technical relationship with the client
* Accountable for detailed engineering, integrated planning, and execution to the plan
* Coordinate COE's engineering activities to achieve overall budgeted hours for all packages
* Lead monthly scheduled reviews that track progress and spending by the team
* Monitor, explain, and resolve any deviations from the early baseline on the S‑curve for engineering
* Drive on‑time delivery through regular meetings and detailed team engagement
* Issue and approve manpower needed to execute to the schedule and any additional scopes that enter the project
Qualifications
* Masters or bachelor's degree in engineering or a science-based discipline
* Previous experience in project engineering, system engineering, or project engineering management at product or system level
* Ability to create and lead multi‑disciplined, geographically dispersed teams
* Ability to synthesize information, identify problems, establish facts, and deduce solutions
* Demonstrated ability to lead programs or projects
* Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
* Established project management skills
* Availability to travel internationally for project needs and for short‑term assignments
