Role Overview - Site Engineer
As a Site Engineer, your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring that all setting-out operations are carried out in line with standard company procedures and test/inspection requirements, while maintaining clear and effective communication with operatives and subcontractors.
Managing site activities and conducting accurate 'as-built' surveys upon completion of works.
Assisting the Site Manager during the initial project setup, ensuring that company systems and procedures are established and followed. You'll help maintain high safety standards and support the planning and monitoring of site performance.
Supporting financial control by keeping cost management systems updated-tracking material deliveries, overseeing plant usage, and monitoring on-site resources.
Working with the Site Manager and Quantity Surveying team to compile data that records the resources used for each task.
Requirements:
CSCS card and SSSTS certification
HNC or Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)
Solid understanding of civil engineering principles and site practices
Knowledge of relevant construction methods, materials, and technical details
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills for engaging with team members and stakeholders
Valid driving licence and willingness to travel across the operational region
