Job Role: EYFS Teaching Assistant – Warrington (WA2)
Start Date: Immediate or January 2026 start
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary (potential to become permanent)
A warm and welcoming primary school in Warrington (WA2) is looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to support their Nursery/Reception team after October half-term.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based EYFS activities.
* Assist with children’s personal, social, and emotional development.
* Contribute to observations and assessments to support progress.
* Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive early years environment.
* Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Requirements:
* Experience working with EYFS children (Nursery or Reception).
* Good understanding of early childhood development and the EYFS framework.
* A nurturing, creative, and proactive approach.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
