Residential Property Conveyancer (Full-Time | 25 Days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays)
We are seeking an experienced and driven Residential Property Conveyancer to lead a busy and well-established residential conveyancing department. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a progressive, multi-discipline legal practice at an exciting stage of growth.
The successful candidate will work independently, managing a diverse caseload of residential property files. This includes purchases, sales, re-mortgages, and home equity release plans, while providing a first-class client experience throughout.
Responsibilities
* Managing a varied caseload of residential property transactions from instruction to completion
* Providing clear, expert advice and guidance to clients at every stage of the conveyancing process
* Drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting searches, and handling the financial aspects of transactions
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties
* Ensuring compliance with all legal, regulatory, and firm requirements
* Contributing to the growth of the practice by developing client relationships and identifying new business opportunities
About You
* Proven experience managing your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters
* Strong understanding of property law, contract law, and conveyancing procedures
* Ability to work independently and under pressure while meeting deadlines
* Excellent communication, organisational, and client-care skills
* A proactive, self-motivated approach with the confidence to market services and generate new work
* A relevant qualification in law or conveyancing is desirable but not essential
