THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a BIM Lead / BIM Manager to take ownership of BIM strategy and delivery within a forward-thinking, sustainability-led MEP consultancy. You'll be the driving force behind digital design excellence — setting standards, leading workflows and supporting a talented team of engineers to deliver fully coordinated, information-rich models across a prestigious and varied project portfolio.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of BIM standards, workflows and protocols across the business in line with ISO 19650
* Manage and maintain the company's BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), ensuring compliance and consistency across all projects
* Act as the primary BIM point of contact for clients, contractors and design team members, attending BIM coordination meetings and representing the business at a senior level
* Oversee the production and quality of Revit MEP models across mechanical and electrical disciplines, ensuring coordination and clash detection are carried out effectively
* Champion the use of Navisworks, BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud and other digital tools to support project delivery and collaboration
* Provide hands-on training, guidance and mentorship to engineering staff at all levels on BIM processes, software and best practice
* Work closely with project engineers and directors to embed BIM at every stage of the design process from feasibility through to construction
* Develop and maintain the company's template libraries, families and content to ensure consistency and efficiency across all projects
* Monitor and report on BIM performance across the project portfolio, identifying areas for improvement and driving best practice adoption
* Stay current with emerging digital technologies, software developments and industry standards, making recommendations to leadership on future investment and innovation
* Support the preparation of BIM-related tender responses, capability statements and client presentations
* Collaborate with the wider design team to ensure information management processes support the business's net zero and sustainability ambitions
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
* Degree qualified in a relevant discipline (Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or similar)
* 5+ years' experience in a BIM Lead, BIM Manager or BIM Coordinator role within building services or MEP consultancy
* Expert knowledge of Revit MEP and BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud
* Strong understanding of ISO 19650 and UK BIM standards
* Proven experience developing and implementing BIM Execution Plans (BEPs)
* Proficiency in Navisworks for clash detection and coordination
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to train, mentor and support engineers at all levels
* Strong organizational and project management skills
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
* Experience working on healthcare, education, commercial or industrial projects
* Knowledge of low carbon design and net zero building services
* Familiarity with other BIM-related software (e.g. Solibri, Dynamo, BlueBeam)
* Experience with COBie and data handover processes
* Professional membership (e.g. CIBSE, CIOB, APM)
