About the Role: As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes when teachers are absent, ensuring students stay on task and engaged with their learning. You will help maintain high classroom standards, promote positive behaviour, and support a structured and effective learning environment throughout the school day. Responsibilities: • Supervise classes following lesson plans provided by teachers. • Ensure students remain engaged, on task, and behave appropriately. • Maintain classroom standards and routines in the teacher’s absence. • Report on student behaviour, engagement, and any incidents. • Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment. • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SEN coordinators, and other school staff. Qualifications: • Previous experience in schools or classroom supervision preferred. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage behaviour effectively and maintain classroom focus. • Professional, reliable, and confident approach. • Adaptable and comfortable working with groups of students.
