Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable teacher ready to step into a rewarding maternity cover role? Teaching Personnel is working with a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Stockton seeking a Primary Teacher to cover a maternity leave from September.

Position: Maternity Cover Primary Teacher
Pay: £120-160 per day
About the Role:
• Teach a full primary class (year group to be confirmed) following the National Curriculum
• Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to a range of abilities
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support
• Work closely with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure pupil success
• Maintain a positive and well-managed learning environment
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting
Flexibility and confidence to take on a new class mid-academic year
Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
This is a full-time maternity cover position, expected to run for two terms with the possibility of extension.
