Responsibilities
* Manage administrative tasks within the office – reply to emails, research potential business opportunities and share them with the Sales Team for follow up.
* Assist the team with VIP bedroom reservations and ensure all alerts, traces and amenities are assigned.
* Assist with VIP FAM and Site Visits by preparing sales packs and hotel gift bags.
* Work with the Sales & Events Team to ensure projects are completed with attention to deadlines.
* Act as a resource for other hotel departments and stakeholders when brochures or sales information are requested.
* Use MGS, Marsha, Opera and internal programs to produce reports as required.
* Keep apprised of hotel developments and ensure collateral and correspondence are up-to-date.
* Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
* Create contracts as required for Corporate, FIT and Group proposals.
* Communicate key information from the Sales & Events Team to the hotel and stakeholders.
* Follow all hotel and company processes and procedures.
Safety and Company Policies
* Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures.
* Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to the manager.
* Complete safety training and certifications.
* Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional.
* Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
* Communicate with others using clear and professional language.
* Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
* Support the team to reach common goals.
* Listen and respond appropriately to concerns of other employees.
* Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Qualifications
* Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
* Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience in a customer service role.
