As the Sales Manager Print & Packing, you will drive growth by delivering innovative colour management solutions to leading print and packaging clients. You\'ll build trusted partnerships, shape strategic sales plans, and collaborate across teams to deliver measurable customer value. This role includes regular UK and international travel to engage with customers, attend industry events, and support global initiatives. We\'re looking for a consultative sales leader with deep knowledge of colour workflows and a passion for enabling customer success.
You will be joining an outstanding team of experienced sales leaders, application support engineers, and dedicated sales administrators — all committed to helping you integrate smoothly and thrive in your new role. This is a remote role, with regular travel across the region, which covers the southern half of the UK, from Leicester down. It would be preferable if you are located within this region, or close to it.
Responsibilities
* Drive Dealer Success: Strengthen and grow relationships with key UK dealers, aligning with X-Rite’s sales goals while managing channel dynamics.
* Provide Sales & Technical Expertise: Support dealers and key accounts in choosing the right solutions, ensuring long-term customer success.
* Be a Trusted Advisor: Champion X-Rite’s colour management solutions, highlighting their impact on productivity, cost savings, and sustainability.
* Drive Strategic Account Growth: Develop and execute plans to expand key accounts and boost market presence.
* Support Value-Based Selling: Equip dealers to effectively position and promote X-Rite solutions with consistent messaging.
* Strengthen Customer Engagement: Join dealer and customer visits to deliver demos, training, and solution presentations.
* Develop Salesforce Mastery: Use SFDC to track performance, pipeline, and customer interactions with precision.
* Share Market Insights: Share regular updates on sales activity, market trends, and dealer performance.
* Be the Voice of Sales: Provide field feedback to influence product development and strategic decisions.
* Be a Brand Ambassador: Represent X-Rite at trade shows, dealer events, and customer meetings.
Essential requirements
* Proven sales drive – self-starter, goal-oriented, and motivated.
* Fluent English speaker with strong communication skills.
* Proven sales experience in Packaging or Ink industry; Colour Management a plus.
* Comfortable in a fast-paced, international environment.
* Strong time management and ability to work independently.
* Tech-savvy, with CRM experience (Salesforce preferred).
* Customer-first mindset and passion for sustainable solutions.
* Home-based with flexibility to travel 30–40%.
