Waste Water Technician Waste Water Technician - Near Armagh, Northern Ireland - £35,000 The Job: This is a hands-on role supporting the operation of a wastewater treatment plant processing up to 700m³ per day. You’ll be responsible for helping keep the plant running efficiently and in line with environmental requirements, while also supporting basic maintenance and site upkeep. Day-to-day duties include monitoring treatment processes, carrying out sampling and testing, recording results, and ensuring accurate reporting. You’ll also support routine maintenance, work with treatment chemicals, and take part in a standby rota to provide cover when needed. The role involves both indoor and outdoor work in all weather conditions. The Company: A well established organisation operating a modern wastewater treatment facility in Northern Ireland. The business is focused on maintaining high environmental standards and reliable day-to-day operations. The Candidate: - Experience working in wastewater treatment or a similar process/industrial setting - Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical plant - Strong numeracy, literacy, and IT skills (including Excel) - Confident recording and handling data accurately - Able to work independently and as part of a team - Good organisation and a practical, hands-on approach - Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions - Full clean UK driving licence - Confined space, forklift, teleporter, or controls experience would be useful but not essential The Package: - 30 days annual leave (including bank holidays) - Full-time, permanent position - Standby and call-out rota payments (where applicable) - Training and development opportunities Please email your CV to Conor Atay, Recruitment Delivery Consultant, CAtay@agrirs.co.uk.
