 
        
        EMCOR UK is seeking a Head of Engineering to drive engineering excellence across the organization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing technical standards, engineering policies, and technical assurance frameworks that underpin safe, effective, and innovative service delivery.
Role Overview
The role is based in Manchester, England, with regular travel across the UK. The salary is competitive, with a car allowance and benefits including private healthcare, 25 days of holidays, and a health cash plan.
The Head of Engineering will lead the development and implementation of EUK engineering policies, processes, and practices, and maintain and update the Hard FM services toolkit. They will also collaborate with operational technical leads to manage and improve operational maintenance delivery standards and evidence.
Responsibilities
 * Develop, implement, and maintain EUK engineering policies, processes, and practices.
 * Maintain and update the Hard FM services toolkit.
 * Collaborate with operational technical leads to manage and improve operational maintenance delivery standards and evidence.
 * Lead the delivery of EUK’s Critical Environment Management System (CEMS).
 * Serve as the primary technical interface for site-based technical teams.
 * Chair the Technical Community of Practice/Engineering Steering Committee.
Requirements
 * Chartered Engineering Status (or evidence of working towards) and membership of a relevant professional body.
 * Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of aspects of technical, asset management, safety, and risk management.
 * Ability to interpret and provide authoritative advice on technical, safety, and asset management issues.
 * Proven successful record of working at Senior Engineering Operations Level.
 * Strong, natural leadership with the ability to inspire and bring out the best in others.
