We're looking for a Business Development Manager to join our small, friendly, and ambitious SME Data Sales team. If you love outbound sales, thrive on building relationships, and want to work in a fun and supportive environment with the freedom to shape your own success - read on.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Generating new business opportunities through cold calling, warm leads, and proactive outreach using our extensive prospect database.
* Pitching our data marketing solutions to decision-makers at SME clients, including owner-managed and growing businesses.
* Managing your own sales pipeline through HubSpot and owning the sales cycle from lead to close.
* Attending industry events and exhibitions to meet clients and prospects face-to-face.
* Working closely with our account management team to provide a seamless handover and brilliant client experience.
* Contributing fresh ideas to improve the sales process and drive commercial growth.
* Keeping your motivation high and being comfortable with handling both wins and knockbacks.
What We’re Looking For
* A proactive sales hunter with experience in telesales or outbound B2B roles - ideally 2+ years.
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills - whether it’s a quick phone call or a pitch to a C-Level exec.
* A self-starter with a consultative mindset who’s comfortable working independently, but thrives as part of a team.
* Experience in or enthusiasm for the UK housing market, removals, self storage, property, or marketing data sectors (helpful but not essential - we know some excellent sales people who have come from different backgrounds!).
* Confidence using tools like HubSpot, Excel, and CRM platforms.
What We’re Not Looking For
This role won’t suit someone who:
* Just wants to "clock in and clock out" - we value energy and curiosity.
* Fears the phone - it’s still your best tool in this role.
* Takes themselves too seriously - we work hard, but we have fun doing it.

* A competitive base salary of £35,000-£40,000, plus an uncapped quarterly commission scheme with a realistic £15,000 OTE.
