Working under a well-known established client in Warrington for a full-time permanent role Your new company Hays Recruitment are delighted to be working alongside a children’s Emotional Behavioural Difficulties service in the Liverpool area in a 6-bedroom house as they require motivated and experienced childcare workers to offer support to children and young people on a long-term basis. Shifts will consist of long-day sleeps. Your new role As a childcare worker / children\'s residential support worker in this EBD service you will: · Build strong relationships with fellow colleagues and service users to offer a tailored person-centred approach to the children and young people ensuring that the needs of the service users are at the heart of all operations. · As you will be working in an EBD service your duties will include but are not limited to; behavioural support, emotional support, observations, attending key appointments, organising days out to various provisions, access to education, and administrative duties as required. What you\'ll need to succeed In order to be successful with your application you must have a minimum of 6 months referenceable experience supporting children and young people in the last 2 years as well as: · A level 2 NVQ in Children\'s Social Care is advantageous but not essential. · A kind, caring, and patient nature. · A full driving license is advantageous but not essential.
