Responsibilities
This position is responsible for leading the development and enhancement of ultrasound technologies and products.
* Lead product innovation, overseeing the development of new ultrasonic products from initial concept to product launch.
* Manage and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, innovation and continuous learning.
* Define research goals and develop project specifications and feasibility in cooperation with management, production, sales, and marketing staff.
* Stay abreast of technological advancements, particularly in electronics and ultrasonics, and use the knowledge to enhance and differentiate product offerings.
* Utilize project management skills to track progress, manage resources, and meet timelines and budgets for product development projects.
* Develop prototypes that validate product concepts, ensuring that performance and reliability requirements are met.
* Collaborate with Manufacturing to transfer products from engineering to production.
Requirements
* M.S. or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, RF Engineering, or similar field.
* 10+ years of experience in product development or innovation within the electronics industry, with a proven track record of successful product launches. Experience should include at least 3 years of team management.
* Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a focus on identifying opportunities and producing results.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing and engaging stakeholders at all levels.
* Occasional domestic and international travel. Must have (or be able to obtain) a valid US passport.
