About the Role:

Planetary Health and Population Health is an important area for development across the University. This role will develop the research group within the Health and Care Research Centre, engaging widely with researchers from across the Faculties and Campus' to enable a transdisciplinary research network.

The post doctoral post will support the network and undertake several transformational improvements to a) enable ethics for sustainability and b) design a knowledge repository for planetary health in the curriculum. The goal is to generate collaborative bids and trans-disciplinary research that recognises the interdependence between human health and wellbeing and the natural world.

With a first Degree plus, PhD or near completion OR other post-graduate research qualification (e.g. MRes, MPhil) You should be interested in Transdisciplinary research and particularly have an interest and or knowledge of planetary health and or population health research. The role will focus on bringing a network together, building a knowledge repository together for staff and students and supporting the development of proposals and organisational development activities aligned with climate change and sustainability practices.

Further researcher development including preparing research bids and co-authorship will be possible.
