Our client based in Speke, are looking to increase their headcount within the production department. MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To ensure the efficient completion of the production schedule. To ensure the efficient picking of customer orders, loading/unloading of vehicles and storage of goods. To undertake tasks as and when required within the limits of a general operative role. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: To ensure that the production schedule is completed in an efficient manner. Ensure all operations are completed in line with all specified company procedures. Ensure timely completion of all reporting operations required for the section. Actively support the Production / Warehouse Controller in the completion of their duties. Ensure that all work operations are completed in a safe manner for the protection of all section members. Ensure the correct clothing is worn at all times, ie safety boots, uniform, glasses, PPE etc. Undertake any other duties at the request of your line manager. To be fully aware of company policies and procedures and to work within the guidelines as stated. To be aware of and maintain company Health and Safety rules at all times. To actively support the formal Integrated Management System by ensuring all defined policies, processes and procedures and work instructions are accurately applied. THE SUCCESSFUL PERSON: You will have an eye for detail and is able to carry out workload to strict procedures. Have excellent organization, communication, skills. A current and in-date counterbalance forklift truck license. Be driven, knowledgeable, possessing an excellent level of clear communication, highly organized and able to work under pressure, production experience will have advantage Eager to progress further in a fast moving and committed manufacturing company. Effective communication skills, ability to work to tight deadlines whilst managing own workload, ability to listen and understand instructions from managers. Attention to detail is essential for this role. A minimum of 2 years experience in FLT driving. Thorough knowledge of Microsoft office ie Word, Excel. A high level of both written and verbal English and also good ability in numeracy is advantageous. PACKAGE & HOURS: Working 6am 2:30pm and 8am 4:30pm (rotating weekly) Monday to Friday with 30-minute lunch break.
